Bog Bodies is a classic-style horror/chiller starring Vinnie Jones (X-Men III), Jason Barry (Titanic), Nora-Jane Noone (The Descent) and Adam Fogarty (Snatch). The script was written and directed by Brendan Foley (Johnny Was, Under the Wire, The Riddle). The film is in the funny/spooky tongue-in-cheek vein of classic horror such as Hammer Horror or American Werewolf in London. A 2000-year old murder victim, a bronze-age warrior perfectly preserved in Ireland’s ancient peat bogs, is dug up and dumped by a greedy female property developer. The huge undead fighter goes in search of a new place to lie down and causes havoc en route, meeting up with a group of young Irish and American characters, who each unwittingly share a guilty secret.
